• Accutane alters the skin and makes it thin, dry, and sensitive. It also weakens your immune system. For those reasons you'll need to one year after your Accutane treatment is completed and your skin is back to its normal state.

Preparation is the key to a successful treatment! 

We advise clients to refrain from alcohol, caffeine, ibuprofen or any other supplements that can thin the blood, for at least 24 hours before your appointment as this can increase bleeding and result in poor retention. 

Of course you must consult with your doctor before stopping any prescribed medication. 

Please do not wax, tint or pluck your brows for 2 weeks before your appointment - we like to utilize as much natural hair growth as possible when mapping your brows, this ensures a more natural result!

 It’s also a great idea to try out your new shape with Brow Tint first so you can get use to having brows (this is especially great for those with very sparse brows or those who don’t regularly wear makeup).

Days 1-4

The pigment will appear very sharp and dark. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin and has not settled in completely. The color of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab. This is only excess pigment and/or body fluid that is naturally exiting your skin.

Days 5-7

Once healing of the skin starts to take place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin.

This may give you the impression that the pigment is fading too quickly, however, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows.

Days 8-13

Your brows may seem as if the pigment has completely faded. DO

NOT PANIC! Trust the process. The color will resurface soon.

Days 14-28

Your brows may still look a little patchy or uneven. The pigment will start to “reappear” as the pigment settles and the healing continues. You may get your touch-up done

at the 6-8 week point. Touch-ups are not allowed before the 6-8 week period to allow the brows to completely heal.

LESS INVASIVE: Ombré powder brows are achieved using a small machine, which disperses extremely fine dots of pigments even into and across the skin in an airbrush or shading technique. Microblading uses a hand-tool that creates incisions or small cuts into the skin. Over time, repeated incisions into the same spots will cause trauma to the skin more quickly.

LESS PAIN & BLEEDING: Ombré powder brows are less painful due to the airbrush-like technique we apply, which creates less trauma to the skin vs. the blading technique of microblading. The latter also creates cuts into the skin, thus more bleeding is involved. With ombré powder brows, minimal to zero blood surfaces during the procedure. 

LASTS LONGER: Results do vary based on lifestyle, skin type, health, preferences, etc., but a single ombré powder brows session, using high-quality pigments, can last on average 3-5 years. Microblading, on the other hand, has a high likelihood of healing blotchy, spotty or with blurred strokes, thus requiring more frequent touch-ups, generating more long term wear and tear on the skin, eventually maxing out the skin’s lifetime capacity quickly. 

GREAT FOR ALL SKIN TYPES: Ombré powder brows are great for any skin type, unlike microblading, which is not suitable for those with oily skin. Microblading on oily skin requires several touch-ups, which causes more trauma to the skin.

STILL LOOKS NATURAL: While ombré powder brows have a more “filled-in” look, the healed results appear like softly shaded brow pencil or powder. Immediately after the treatment, ombré powder brows can appear more saturated and bold, however, brows will fade 20-30%, leaving a very soft finish and shape that will allow our clients to quickly groom their brows going forward.
